Using the keyboard as a mouse If your mouse stops working at the most inopportune moment, we can switch the cursor control with the keyboard to complete our work. To activate the function, press the key combination ALT + SHIFT + NUM LOCK. In the dialog box that appears, confirm the activation. The mouse cursor is controlled by an additional number block. In addition to moving left, right, down and up (4, 6, 2, 8), diagonal movement (7, 9, 3, 1) is supported. Clicking is done by pressing the 5 key. By clicking on the mouse icon in the tray, we can adjust the speed and acceleration of the cursor, as well as its acceleration when you press CTRL and deceleration on SHIFT.

If you split your 💻 screen monitor, you can run multiple applications, view research on one half of the screen and your word document on another. Split Screen with Windows 10 Snap Assist: ✅ Click Start and open Settings. ✅ Click System and select the Multitasking tab. There is a slider called Snap Windows. Make sure it is set to On. Once enabled, all you have to do is click and drag a window to one side of the screen. Dragging it to ⬅️ of the screen will cause it to fill the left-side of the screen to the halfway point, while dragging it to ➡️ will do the opposite. If you drag a window to any of the 4 corners of the screen, the window will snap to fill a quadrant of the screen. Split Screen on Windows 7: Open 2 applications. Once the 2 apps are open, right-click on the taskbar and select “Show windows side by side.” You’ll have two windows open simultaneously. Use it!

KTI: WHY is "SPAM" called that?

Image
Originally, Spam was an inexpensive canned food from Horne, Foods, which came on the market in 1937. The name quickly caught on due to its simplicity and grandiose advertising campaign.  The American firm was so persistent in its advertising that many citizens complained to newspaper and magazine editors that their publications were impossible to read because of the ubiquitous SPAM stew ads. The quality of the product left much to be desired, but it was cheap, which made it popular as a raw material for cooking various dishes in small cafes and bars. In fact, there was nowhere to run from SPAM dishes. This commercial success had a downside - spam began to be called anything that was imposed, advertised, and anything that was not of decent quality.
